This coming Saturday is our first Volunteer Date with the U.S Forestry Service. We will meeting at the Big Bear Ranger Station & Discovery Center, 41397 North Shore Drive, Highway 38, Fawnskin, CA 92333 at 9:00 a.m.

If you plan on attending, please RSVP me by Wednesday, also, please wear your Mojave Desert Rider, Barstow-to-Laughlin T-Shirt. We will be taking a group photo and releasing it on a press release to all our local papers.

The forestry service has released the following information:

Participants meet at the Big Bear Ranger Station flagpole at 9:00am on the scheduled work dates. We work until about 3pm (or when you are worn out!)

Please bring a sack lunch, water, sunscreen, a jacket, hat, and work gloves.

I will be checking the weather update on Friday and advising if the US Forestry is cancelling due to weather related conditions, or if the weather is good...we carry on as planned...
